Saturday was a cool and cloudy day as 26 players braved the threat of rain to take on Royal Yea. Nineteen men contested the first round of the Barry Moore trophy with Phil Armstrong(20) victorious with 38 stableford points. Runner up was Neil Peterson(13) on CB from Allan Coates(10) with 33. Rob O’Halloran(19) won a 4 way CB to claim fourth with 32 points. NTP on the 2nd was Rick Wills and Norm McCallum took out the Club Award. The second and final round of the Barry Moore will be on next Saturday.
Seven women contested a 4 Stick Stableford event with Cheryl Roberts(31) coming out on top with 33 points. Val Howard(50) came second with 28 points.
