Bill Dredge(20) our C Grade Champion continued his recent good form to post 38 points to win the Wednesday Competition. Second with 36 was Russell Wealands(25), with third Neil Peterson(16) on CB from Steve Rumney(29) and Chris Smith(22) with 34 points. Pelly was NTP on the 18th and Carl Maffei won the Club Award.
Boys firstly a reminder that we are going to coor the greens on the second week of December mon 7th – wed 9th. All hands will be needed. Secondly Dors and I have shifted our Christmas lunch to wed 23rd December(3 person Ambrose).
This allows us boys to go play golf On Tue Wed December 15-16th at Yarrawonga. Nothing booked yet but I will need numbers by next Monday.
Plan is to play 18 holes – Murray Course at Yarrawonga on Tuesday and the Black Bull Golf Course at Siverwoods just out of Yarrawonga on the Wednesday.
You can play either or both days.
Accomodation at Yarrawonga in Boronia Villas is $70 head for 6 people in 3 twin bedrooms. Looks good – have a look on the net.
Golf with shared cart is about $75-$80 per person each day, Green fees are about $50 per day if you bring a cart. It is a 2 hour 10 min drive from Yea . So those coming for a day, it is possible. If you can’t go could you also please let me know as well.
