With many members “up north” or unavailable only 11 players participated in the first of three rounds for the 54 Hole Event. Leading the day was Phil Armstrong (17) with 36 points from second Jonathan Fisher(10) with 35 on CB from Zach Pell(12) third. No NTP on the 18th and John Tanner collected the Club award. Five ladies also played stableford with Margie Wright(20) with 34 points winning from Sharon Grogan (23) with 33.
Wednesday saw 16 men play Pair 22 Stableford with Anthony “Pro” La Grutta teaming with Brian Simmons to win with 292 points from second. This was Anthony’s fourth win in a row. Second with 270 points were Bob Glenister/Gary Pollard from third Alan Pell/Brian Priestley with 264. Luke Gregory was NTP on the 18th and Greg Clements/Jim Redmond won the Club Award. Individual winner was Alan Pell with 33 points from Luke Gregory with 30. Nine ladies played Stableford with Christine Simmons (25) with 36 points had a win from Penny Britton(32) with 26 on CB from third Di Holdsworth (33) third.
