Wednesday saw 16 players play in eight teams in a 4BBB event. Cold and damp conditions made scoring difficult. Winners on CB were Jim Redmond(23) and Anthony La Grutta(13) with 37 points from second Nicola Rule(54) and Brian Simmons(13) 37 and third Tony Rule(17) and Martin Lowe(16) also on 37. There was no NTP on the 14th and Alan Pell/Peter Johnston took out the Club Award. Tony Rule had 33 points from Luke Gregory 32 in the individual scores.
Saturday saw another team event with a three person 6BBB. Five teams saw Anthony LaGrutta(13), Paul Heyen(22) and Jim Redmond post 45 points to win from Phil Armstrong(16), John Tanner(27) and Peter Johnston(15) with 40 points. Phil Armstrong was NTP on the 14th and Alan Pell, John Phillips and Sharon Grogan collected the lucky $10 Club Award.
Next Saturday sees the first of three rounds in the 54 hole event with a stableford round.
