Saturday saw 19 men contest a stableford round at Royal Yea. Winner with 38 points on CB was John Tanner(25) from Greg Clements(16) second. Third with 36 points was Neil Peterson(15) from fourth Brendan Chenhall 35 on CB from Kevin Coghlan(23) fifth. There was no NTP on the 18th and Jeff Aurisch won the club Award.
Next Saturday is the June Monthly Medal followed by the second round of the Prideaux played on the following Saturday, 10th June. First round knockout matches should have been completed. Any match not played by the end of play next Saturday will result in both players eliminated.
Chooklotto saw Kevin Coghlan owner of a bottle of Mister Rooster Shiraz. Greg Clements won the stubbie holder and Captain Alan took home the Elvis pack.
Last Wednesday 10 blokes played a four stick Stableford event. Winner with 34 points was Graeme Bryant(26) from second Rob O’Halloran(20) with 32. No NTP on the 18th and Allan Thatcher won the Club Award. From next Wednesday and the month of June, Mens golf on Wednesdays will start at 10:30am. Players can play earlier if they arrange partners and let the Captain know.
