Day beginning with a cool crisp morning turning into a very pleasant day for golf. Although many had other commitments we managed to field eight Ladies for the very first of many competitions for the year. Hoping this year to be way improved from the last one which, was filled with many many setbacks. Lots of cancellations hence we were lacking the competition we desire. So today was the very first Monthly Medal and putting up for grabs. One lady in particular took to the field with much gusto and proved that she can do it. Young Penny Britton (38) had a smashing 104 off the stick to come in with a smooth score of 66 nett. Go Girl!! In keeping with such a fine score she also won the putting with 30 putts. Fine splendid job!. Runner up myself Karen Sangster (24) 73 nett. NTP Adrianne Anglin.
