Adi Wins for the Ladies

In a field of 21 players at Royal Yea on Wednesday the best score was by Adrianne Anglin(11) with 38 points. Second and best for the men was Phil Armstrong(16) with 37 points. This was the fifth round of the Gender Challenge with the men playing from the Red Tees but with reduced handicaps.

Third on the day was Mic Sheather(23) with 36 from fourth Penny Brittain(39) with 35 on CB from Anthony Coleman(2) fifth. Steve Rumney was NTP on the 14th and Graeme Bryant won the Club Award. Team averages were 30.3 Men to the Ladies 29.0.

Scores for the day were 50-35 for the Men. Overall scores are Men 290 Ladies 135 with the competition continuing in two weeks with a stroke & putting round. Next Wednesday is a mixed stableford with the following day being Australia Day where the annual 4BBB tournament is played at Seymour. Next Tuesday the Vets are playing at Kilmore with a 9:00am for 9:30 hit-off.

Congratulations to Wayne Rowe who several week ago defeated Rick Wills on CB mind you to be The Mens Club Knockout Champion for 2022. Coming events to note are that Vets will be at Yea on Thursday 9th and the Corporate Day will be on Friday 24th February.
