Saturday saw 19 men and 5 ladies play off the red tee markers at Royal Yea. The men’s course remains a par 70 but the slope reduces from 120 to 106 reducing their handicaps quite a bit. The winner with 34 points was Greg Clements(12) from second Kevin Coghlan(15) 33 with Anthony Coleman(3) third 32 from fourth Rick Wills(4) 31. Greg was NTP on the 14th and one of four visitors from Eildon GC Michael Lynch won the Club Award. Meryl Connell won the ladies stableford with 23 points.
Reminder that the Anti-Cancer 3 Person Ambrose scheduled for Wednesday has been set for Wednesday 7th September. Stableford rounds for both men and ladies will be played on Wednesday.
