There were thirty four players participating in a Four Ball Best Ball Competition at Royal Yea on Saturday, Winners and Hawks supporters were Russell Wealands(24) and Alan Pell(13) with 48 points. After the abundance of rain on Friday which softened the fairways and greens, it was remarkable how playable the course was on Saturday. Second were Judi Newman(54) and Phil Armstrong(23) with 47 points from third Jonathon Fisher(16) and Lachie Wischer(15) with 45 points. Ther were no winners for the NTP for 2 Men or 3 Ladies on the 10th. The Club Award and $5 each went to Sam and Margie Wright. Individual Winner was Russell Wealands with 41 points from Jonathon Fisher 40 and Chris Smith 39. Wednesday sees the 7th Round of the Gender Challenge – Stroke and Putting. Next Saturday is the Murrindindi Masters at Alexandra.
