Saturday saw 22 men play the third round of the Sichlau Trophy with a stroke & putting competition. Winner with an excellent 88 off the stick was Russell Wealands(22) nett 66. Second was new member Matt Spurgeon(38) with nett 67. Third with nett 70 was Steve Rumney(29), fourth was Brian Simmons(11) with 71. Fifth on CB was Rick Wills with 74. Brian Simmons was NTP on the 14th and Steve Rumney won the putting with 26 putts. The Club Award was won by Peter Keast.
Wednesday’s programme sees a 4 ball event. So organise a partner or if in threes the lowest handicap will,partner the other two. It will be Stableford with individual results for golf balls. Next Saturday was to be a 3 Person Ambrose but it has been changed to the second round of the Barry Moore Trophy – Stableford. Due to the pandemic the Club Knockout second round will be extended until the end of August if needed.
