Saturday saw the Mixed Foursomes Championships contested at Royal Yea. Winners with 83 off the stick nett 71 were Larraine Callander(13) and Gary Pollard (11). Handicap winners were Neil(12)and Marianne Peterson(41) with nett 70.5 from third Jeff(14) and Sue Aurisch(33) with nett 71.5.
Ten pairs of men competed for the Men’s Foursomes with Cobden boys Wayne Rowe(9) and Alan Pell(11) scoring a win with a nett 65. Second on CB were Greg Clements(14) and Brian Simmons(12) with nett 69. Third were Martin Lowe(15) and Jonathon Fisher(15). The Club Award was won by Matt Madden and George McLatchie with a nett 80.5.
