Royal Yea was in great condition even though their must have been some localised showers on some fairways! It was a par event with twelve men and six ladies participating.
Second week of the Gender Challenge sees the Men take a sizeable lead in the competition. Winner of the day and the Men was Peter Williams(22) with a sensational +3. Winner of the Ladies was Margie Wright(31) with -5 on CB.
Second on the day was Robert O’Halloran(18) on CB from Carl Maffei(22) then Peter Johnston (16) all on -3. The Ladies Runners Up was Di Elliot from Laraine Callander(13) also on CB with -5 as well.
There was no NTP on the 11th and the Club Award was won by Jonathon Fisher(11) with -7.
The points for team average(5) went to the Men this week plus all four placings for a total of 42 points to add on to the 22 first round points. Score after two rounds is Men 64 Ladies 20.
Reminder that the Club AGM is next Tuesday Night 7:00pm at the Clubrooms. Also next Wednesday all players are to bring a plate to share for our Xmas in July lunch after the third round of Gender Challenge.
