Great Day at Mornington GC

Sixteen Yea golfers were given wonderful hospitality from Mornington GC on Sunday. Di Holdsworth a previous Mornington Ladies Captain was our member who arranged a mixed Pinehurst event with 16 members from Mornington GC.  Sue Aurisch and Ken Bates (Mornington GC) won the event with a net 70 1/3 and Bob Glenister won a NTP in the overall comp.

Some of our members spent the whole weekend there as well.  Playing golf on Saturday, swimming in the bay, having fish and chips on the pier and enjoying a wonderful time hosted by Trish and Pat from Mornington.

We will certainly have to reciprocate and have Mornington come to Royal Yea in the near future.
