Here is a recap of events held in July for the Men/Mixed Events.
Wednesday the 2nd and 11 men played a stableford round with new member Gavin Houldcroft winning with 37 points from Anthony La Grutta 35 and Bob Glenister 34. Alan Pell NTP on 2nd and Russell Wealands won the Club Award.
Saturday the 5th saw 14 players in a stableford event with Kevin Coghlan 37 points winning from Paul Clayton 35 and Jeff Aurisch 34. Brian Simmons was NTP on 2nd and Peter Johnston won the Club Award.
Wednesday the 9th saw 10 players in a stroke & putting event with Brian Simmons nett 69 winning from Zach Pell also on 69. NTP on the 11th was Anthony La Grutta, the putting was won by Brian with 25 putts and Alan Pell won the Club Award.
Saturday the 12th saw the Monthly Medal played with 19 players. Winner with nett 67 was Jeff Aurisch from Alan Pell 70, Zach Pell 71 and Rick Wills 72. No NTP on the 11th and Jono Ness won the putting with 24 putts. Brad Clements took out the Club Award.
Wednesday the 16th saw a 4BBB draw for partners event with Peter Johnston/Eddie Waghorn winning with 42 points from second Phil Armstrong/Vicki Clements with 41. Mic Spagnolo was NTP on the 14th and he also had the best individual score 34.
Saturday the 19th saw a 3 Person Ambrose with Kevin Coghlan, Gareth Antrobus and Andrew Bohn with a nett 57 take the win from second Peter Johnston, Michael and Eddie Waghorn with nett 61.3. Andrew Bohn and Sue Aurisch were NTP’s on the 14th.
Wednesday the 23rd saw 11 players in a Pair 22 Event. Winners were Phil Armstrong/Gavin Houldcroft with 348 points from Second Alan and Zach Pell with 260. No NTP on the 18th and Greg Millard/Bill Dredge won the club Award. Best individual score was Phil Armstrong with 39 points.
Saturday the 26th was a wash out. Wednesday the 30th saw a mixed Par Event with Sharon Grogan winning with +1 from Gary Pollard -1, Margie Wright and Steve Rumney both -3. Jan Wealands and Jeff Aurisch were NTP’s on the 10th(2) and Bill Dredge won the Club Award.
