29 people contested the 7th Rd of the gender challenge on Wednesday. Playing Ambrose the boys had a one team handicap in the competition as there were 17 men to 12 ladies.

Winners of the day but not included in the Gender Competition were Bob Glenister and Brendan Chenhall who pared the course to have nett 62.25. Second on the day went to Russell Wealands/Alan Pell with 3 over nett 64. Third was Peter Johnson/John Tanner/Rob Gill in a 3 person team with 79 off the stick nett 66.5. Next was Gary Pollard/Sam Wright with 79 nett 68.25 followed by Margie Wright/Miranda Gill with 80 nett 68.75 and Sharon Grogan/Penny Brittain with 86 nett 70.25. The boys won the team average 69.5 to 73.9 for 10 gender points. The Gender Day points went 70 for the Men and 15 to the ladies. NTP on the 2nd was Allan Coates and the Club Award Winners were Chris keogh/Mic Sheather.
Current totals are Men 350 Ladies 245. Next week sees individual stableford matches with each match worth 10 points plus the usual 85 points available. The best stableford score next week will win the inaugural Mary Walker Shield.
