Saturday the 21st December saw the first mixed stableford event for the summer. Thirty five golfers played on the day with Bill Dredge(26) winning on CB with 37 points. Second was Val Howard(49) in her comeback after a spell from the game. Third was Cindy Armstrong(29) from husband Phil(20) both with 35 points. Judi Newman(39) with 34 points was fifth. John Phillips was NTP on the 14th and one of the best golfers Mic Spagnolo won the Club Award.
Thursday “Boxing Day” only saw 5 golfers play in the morning as the weather got hot and windy during the day. Best of the group was Zach Pell(20) with 33 points with his brother Darcy winning the Club Award.
Saturdays in December/January will see Mixed Stableford events, with the 3rd round of the Gender Trophy on Wednesday the 8th and the second round of the Murrindindi Masters at Alexandra on Saturday 11th.
