16 members fronted up to contest a Par Event on Wednesday despite the frost, fog and winter chill. 9 Ladies competed with Vicki Clements (26) registering -3 to take home top honours. Meryl Connell (25) and Cindy Armstrong (33) were next best with -5.
7 Men teed up in the inaugural Polar Bear Par Cup, sponsored by Bundy Rum. Martin Lowe (19) collected “The Polar Bear” after surviving a countback from Chris Keogh (40) after they both finished on -5. Rob O’Halloran (21) and Phil Armstrong (21) were next best with -6. Greg Clements (17) was a clear winner in the Club Award when he registered -11.
There were no winners in the NTP on the 2nd for either the Ladies or Men.
