Only 11 players for the Irish Stableford event on Wednesday but the best score for several years was obtained. Irish stableford takes the better score of the two on the first nine and both scores on the second nine.
Winners with 63 points were Phil Armstrong(20) and Steve Rumney(25). Second were Bob Glenister(10) fresh from a spell and Mic Sheather(29) with 58 points from third Brian Simmons(11) and Jeff Aurisch(21) with 57. NTP on the 2nd was Mic Sheather and the Club Awrd winners were Russ Wealands and Rob O’Halloran.
Individual winner was Phil Armstrong with 39 points from Bob Glenister 37. Saturday sees the first of two rounds stableford for the Barry Moore Trophy.
