Played under a cloudy sky and a few fleeting misty sprays, the Bruce Kindred Cup attracted 24 players who persevered thru sometimes very heavy conditions underfoot. Winner of the Ladies was Meryl Connell(27) on CB from Karen SangsterI(26) both on 25 points. Vicki Clements(25) with 24 was third. In the Men Tony Rule(20) with 37 points was a clear winner. Second was Brian Simmons(12) with 32 followed by Alan Pell(16) 30 third. Alan on behalf of Jenny Kindred presented trophies to the winners.

In the 4BBB Tony and Martin Lowe(18) with 44 points won from Mic Spagnolo(5)/Kevin Coghlan(20) on 39 with Phil Armstrong(20)/Cindy Armstrong(37) on 38 third.
