Nineteen men played a stableford round on Wednesday at Royal Yea Golf Club. Winner with 39 points was Jonathan Fisher(15) from second Bob Glenister(10) on 35 on CB from third Steve Rumney(25). Fourth on 34 CB was Peter Johnston(15) from Allan Thatcher(20) and Ken Whitfort(7) also on 34. Ken Whitfort was NTP on the 18th and Denis Fisher won the Club Award.
Yea GC Golfweek is on next week with 24 golfers and 7 non players attending the Bright Week. Monday is at Myrtleford, Tuesday at Bright, Wednesday at Mt.Beauty and back to Bright on Thursday, A get together dinner at The Alpine Bright Hotel at 6pm on Sunday starts off the week.
There will be a stableford event at Yea next Wednesday for those still around. This Saturday sees the March Monthly Medal contested for the men.
