Saturday saw 41 golfers contest the inaugural Yea Spring 4 Ball and Individual Stableford Event at Royal Yea. Conditions were ideal and scores reflected this. Winners of the 4 Ball were Steve Rumney(29) and Judi Newman(54) with 51 points. Runner’s Up were Brian(13) and Christine Simmons(24) with 46.
Individual Winner of the men’s Stableford was Wayne Rowe(13) with 40 points on CB from Brian Simmons(13). Margie Wright(25) won the best Ladies Stableford on CB from Miranda Gill(15) with 38 points. NTP on the 2nd was Phil Armstrong, on the 11th Margie Wright, the 14th was Neil Peterson and Christine Simmons and on the 18th was Mic Spagnolo.
Men’s presentations for events over the lockdown period followed the day’s presentations . All in all it was fantastic to see some people at the club even though outside on the verandah.
