With no golf at Yea due to the races 9 men and 6 ladies went to Strathbogie on Saturday and joined their Stableford competition. Best of our men was Greg Clements with 38 points and the ladies Winner was our Doreen Lehmann with 45 points! An excellent arvo tea was supplied and) the course was in excellent shape. It was great to be part of another small but productive golf club.
Yea also had a 6 hole hit for new members on Thursday evening. Twelve new members had a hit and enjoyed a sausage/drink afterwards. All were invited to not only play more golf but join in the social aspect of the club.
