Spring has sprung although the weather a little confused very changeable but still its great for golf fairways looking lush and greens tip top condition volunteers should be proud thus makes for some tip top golf as we saw on Wednesday the sixth.
Five of the 7 ladies eligible went out to compete for the Gold Medal of the monthly medals and as there can be only one winner and having another very good and very consistent score of 69 nett Margie Wright (26) once again took the spoils well done Margie you are certainly having a great time at golf of late Congratulations! Margie apart from getting her name on the trophy took home with her a beautiful plant donated by one of our life members Myrna Patterson thank you Myrna.
Also for the day 12 ladies competed for the daily winner one would think Margie had done a pretty good job having a 69 well not to be outdone another up an coming greatly improving new comer Meryl Connell (36) blitzed the field with a 66 nett to take the honours. Handicap will be taking a beating with scores like that Go Meryl!!
A little different to the golf but still a win. A No. of golfing ladies took themselves to the Beauford Manor for the Oaks Day fundraiser and to celebrate her good score of 66 Meryl looking very beautiful and classy won the Filly division on the day Winners are Grinners go girls! Happy golfing everyone!
