Twelve men and six ladies competed in the first competition day of the Winter Gender Competition. A stableford event, Winner of the day and the men was Brian Simmons(11) with 35 points. Second and winner of the Ladies was Karen Sangster(26) with 34 points. Third was Di Holdworth(23) with 33 points and fourth was Ray Partridge(26) with 32 points. Team Average went to the Women (27.0) compared to the Men (26.4). NTP on the second was Di Holdsworth. The Men’s Club Award went to a CB with Rob O’Halloran winning from Alan Pell, both on 19 points.
