Nineteen men contested Saturday’s event at Royal Yea GC. Wayne Rowe(12) with an incredible 74 off the stick posted 44 stableford points to take a five point lead into next week’s second round of the N.J. Murray Trophy. Second with 74 also off the stick was Michael Spagnolo(7) with 39 points. Third with 37 points was Alan Pell(10) with Kevin Coghlan(16) fourth with 35 points. NTP on the 14th was Martin Lowe and Jeff Aurisch won the Club Award on CB. Cheryl Roberts won the Ladies event.
