Ladies golf has had some exciting times over the past two weeks. Several girls travelled to Euroa hoping to increase some player of the year points but alas we were piped at the post after some really good games. The only spoils we bought home was a nearest the pin by yours truly. Next our pennant team continue to battle playing Alexander on their home turf loosing 4/1. Laraine Callander the only victor all the other games finishing on the 17th hole top effort girls. Wednesday we held the Royal Women’s Hospital 4BBB event another tight day Victors Adrianne Anglin and Captain Vicky Butler winning on a count back from Di Elliott and Karen Sangster both 42 pts. Best of luck girls for the next round. Hope you get to go to the finals. Now for the highlight of the post off to Alexandra we go again this time to see just what we could do for the day especially after having our tails kicked on Monday. Not today WE WON THEIR BOWL!!!!. Team Di Elliott, Adrianne Anglin and myself Karen Sangster won on a countback from Mansfield 94 pts. Last time we won their bowl was 1994 24 years ago. GO YEA!!!!!! Our captain also highlighted on the day getting 4 player of the year points well done Vicky. Top job girls even if I do say so myself. Good luck for next pennant round!
