The men completed a full list of winners on the day towards the midweek gender competition. Fourteen men and Four ladies took to Royal Yea on Wednesday with many playing earlier at 7:30am in order to miss the hot weather. The course is in great condition at this stage of the year.
Winner of the men and the day was a Russell Wealands (20) with 40 stableford points. Second was Robert O’Halloran (17) with 39 points, with Neil Peterson (13) third on 38. Winner of the Ladies was Miranda Gill (15) with 37 points. Fourth for the day was Peter Williams (26) with 37 points on CB from Bill Dredge(23) and Miranda. The men won the team average with a score of 33.5 to 31.75 points.
Neil Peterson was NTP on the 18th and Carl Maffei was the lucky winner of the Club Award receiving $10.
