Royal Yea Golf Club hosted its annual Corporate Day on Friday with 30 teams of 3 people participating in an Ambrose Event. The weather improved over the day to finally settle into a sunny afternoon for Yea’s major fund raiser. Golf, followed by an excellent lunch and great companionship, provided the club with both excellent reviews of the course as well as added revenue through the raffles and bar intake.
David Sands Homes, Dindi Agriculture and Elders were the major sponsors of the day.
Winners of the day with a net 55 were Ivor Brayley, Bruno Costanizo and Geoff Ross representing David Sands Homes. Ivor is a club member who is getting his new home built by them!
Second with 55 1/2 were Brad Clements, Lach Armour and George McLatchie. Vicki Butler, Al Brady and Laurie Brady were winners of the mixed event with 59 1/2.
