Ladies Champions 2017 Decided

Wednesday, October 26 was the final round of club championships. Nine players came along for this decider. Rain threatened early but conditions were fine. Laraine Callander was A Grade champ for the 11th time, playing consistently over the four weeks. Chris Simmons had an easy win in B Grade with two early outstanding rounds making it hard to catch her. Jan Wealands won in C Grade although this was not decided till the last day. The Handicap Champion Trophy went to Chris Simmons, hard to beat after nett 62 and 69 in the first two rounds.

Thanks to all who competed, and now ladies look forward to more good scores in the Gender Challenge.
