14 players participated at Royal Yea GC on Saturday. Rick Wills(6) with a fine 67 won on CB from Rob O’Halloran(17) for the Monthly Medal. Alan Pell(11) was third with nett 68. This was the second round of the Sichlau Trophy and Rick also won the putting competition with 24 putts! Peter Keast won the Club Award on CB from Carl and Bruce. There was no NTP on he 11th and Rick secured a birdie on the 8th for a group free drink.
The boys pennant team drew with Alexandra at Euroa last weekend. Greg Clements and Norman Cole won with Brad Clements squaring his match to draw the matches at 2 1/2 each. Yea play Euroa at Strathboogie this Sunday.
