Saturday saw the start of rainfall in Yea but fortunately from 10am to 4pm allowed golfers to get a round in. The second and final round of`the Prideaux Cup was contested by 14 men with Greg Clements(17) with 71 points winning on CB from Rob O’Halloran(19). Third on CB was Alan Pell(12) from Mic Spagnolo(8) both with 70 points.

The daily winner on Saturday was Tony Rule(17) with 37 points on CB from Greg Clements. Third with the best 36 points was Peter Johnston(16) from Rob O’Halloran(19). There was no NTP on the 2nd and Kevin Coghlan took out the Club Award.
Last Wednesday saw a stroke and putting event with 18 men playing. Winner with an excellent nett 67 was new member Anthony La Grutta(19). Second was Alan Pell(13)with nett 70 from third Gary Pollard(13) with nett 72. Fourth was Peter Johnston(16) with nett 73. Anthony La Grutta made it a very successful day by winning the NTP on the 2nd and Glen Walsh won the Club Award. The putting was shared by Allan Coates and Brian Simmons with 25 putts each. In the ladies their were 10 competitors with Judi Newman(36) with nett 75 winning from Cindy Armstrong(25) 76 and Jan Wealands(27) and Margie Wright(22) both with nett 77.
