Saturday saw 15 men and 11 ladies playing stableford at Royal Yea. The weather was a bit of all seasons with the occasional drop of rain. In the ladies event Nicola Rule(54), after a six week layoff, produced a fine 33 points to win on CB from Jo Clayton(24). The consistent Penny Britton(33) with 32 points was third.

In the mens event it was “birthday boy” Tony Rule(21) with 36 points winning from Alan Pell(16) 35 and Paul Clayton(11) 34. There was no winners of NTP on the 10th for 2(Men) and for 3(Ladies). Returning from his northern journey was Michael Sheather who won the Club Award.

In the Club Knockout Final for Men, Alan Pell defeated Brian Priestley to complete a 32 man draw. This coming Wednesday sees both the men and ladies playing a Par 3 Day at Royal Yea.
