Wednesday saw 9 men and 6 ladies play a stableford round at Royal Yea. Margie Wright(22) and Penny Britton(33) both had 31 points with Margie winning on CB for the Ladies. In the Mens event Gary Pollard(15) had a blinder with 40 points to win from Phil armstrong(23) with 35 points. Brendan Chenhall was NTP on the 18th and Billy Dredge won the Club Award on CB from Brendan. In the Mens Knockout Brian Priestley defeated Anthony Coleman in the second semifinal. Brian will play Captain Alan in the final in September.
The Monthly Friday Social Gathering on Friday 13th September.
Entertainment for the evening will be Charades and after dinner some Amateur Theatre under the heading of “Reflections”

Still looking for 2/3 Thespians to round out the Amateur Theatre so if you can play an instrument, sing or lip sync a song, recite a poem or do a skit you will be most welcome.
