The Ladies Team have reduced the margin to just 5 points following some excellent golf in Round 3 of the Summer Gender Challenge.
Leading the way was Di Holdsworth (30) with 38 pts. Ably supported by Di Elliott (28) debutant Danielle Scott (45) and Sharon Grogan (30) all on 35 points, The Ladies filled 4 of the top 5 place getters to gain 55 points for their team
Tony Rule (20) was in excellent form posting 39 points but under the PES system his score could not be considered. Neil Peterson (15) overcame considerable intimidation and played with great determination to record 36 points.
Jeff Moss (15) with 35 points was next best for the Mens Team.
The Mens Team narrowly took out the overall average with 31.46 vs. 31.2 for the Ladies Team
NTP on the 2nd Hole went to Peter Johnson- Men and Di Elliott – Ladies,
Micheal Sheather was warmly applauded when he collected the Club Award.
After Round 3 the scores stand at Men 130. Ladies 125.
Next Saturday 6th January is a Mixed Stableford event and on Wednesday 10th Round 4 of the Gender Challenges being a Par event.
