Saturday 7th May saw only four ladies brave the elements for a round of Par with Judi Newman (46) the winner for the day having a -3.
Monday 9th the second round of Pennant. Waking to a absent view out of the window. Fog taking any visibility a possibility, things weren’t looking to promising. Team Adrianne Anglin, Miranda Gill, Myself, Sue Aurisch and Vicky Butler loaded up and wandered over the hill to Kilmore to battle with our close neighbours Alexandra. To our delight the Sun had appeared and the day turning out to be very pleasant playing our competitive round of golf. The day did not disappoint. A very tight tussle which ended waiting for the last player to return to decide the outcome for the day. All on tender hooks finally all were put out of our misery on the last hole to discover Yea once again won the battle making it two in a row. Go Yea Girls! Once again I got to use my favourite word commiserations to our close neighbours. Very gracious neighbours at that. Great Team spirits amongst the girls wonderful to see. This week it’s off to Broadford.

Thursday a large number of girls fronted for the Euroa Tournament. Many were thinking what a silly idea when we returned to the club house looking like drowned rats. Our fingers were crossed as the day started with a light mist but slowly and surely it turned into serious rain. But I can say it didn’t seem to fluster some who have been on a role. Adrianne Anglin taking A grade handicap for another feather in her cap. Also another member Vicki Clements a win in small teams and some player of the year points. Well done girls !!!!
