Saturday saw 22 players on the course with 6 guys playing stableford and 16 others playing foursomes. Foursomes involves one partner hitting off the odd and the other the even holes and then alternating shots to the hole. Overall winners and Mixed Scratch and Handicap Winners were Brian and Christine Simmons with 87 off the stick nett 72.
The Mens Scratch and Handicap Winners were Anthony Coleman and Tony Rule with 89 off the stick nett 76 and the Ladies Scratch and Handicap Winners were Di Holdsworth and Cindy Armstrong with 106 off the stick net 75.
Jonathan Fisher(13) with 35 points won the stableford from Mic Spagnolo(7) with 32 points.
Chooklotto was won by Alan Pell for the chook, Judi Newman won the sponsors prize and the stubbie holder was won by Rob O’Halloran. Next Saturday sees the Baynes Memorial Canadian Foursomes being contested with a 12:00 for 12:30 hit off. Please bring a plate. There will be a stableford event for those not in the foursomes.
