Cheryl cleans up

Cheryl Roberts (28) cleaned up in today’s Par event with a great score of +5! Well done Cheryl. Her win saw the Ladies regain 5 pts in the summer Gender Challenge.

With the course in great condition and a hot day forecast 15 men and 14 Ladies started early. It was great to have new Member, Jenny Price join in, play and put in her third card setting her handicap.

Phil Armstrong (24) took out second place on countback from Karen Sangster (23) and Neil Peterson (14), who all had +2 while James Walsh (10) was fifth and the Men having the best average score.

Progressive scores in the Challenge see the Men leading by 40, 190 to 150 points.

Adrianne Anglin birdied the 11th to win Ladies NTP (on 2nd shot) and Ken Whitford was nearest for the Men.

Good luck to all Yea players playing in the Yea Foodrops sponsored round of the Murrindindi Masters this Saturday. Our Club is proud to have so many of its Members compete in this Shire wide event and is appreciative of the generous sponsorship donated by the Reddrop family.
