Record Pair 22 score

Wednesday saw 17 men contest a stableford pairs event as well as Individual Stableford. The pairs event takes the two individual points gained on a hole and combines them to earn a hopefully larger score per hole. ie. if both players get 2 points then 22 is recorded. If one scores less than 2 then a lower score is given, a 1 point and 2 points results in 12. Conversely if one scores a 3 point and the other a 2, then 32 is recorded.

One of our great trees

Winners of Pair 22 were Rob O’Halloran(18) and Trevor Connell(18) with 415 points, which is a record score for this event. Not surprisingly Rob was also the Individual Winner with 38 points. Not bad form from the last Club Award Winner! Runner’s Up in the Pairs were Neil Peterson(14) and Peter Johnston(14) with 355 points from third Jeff Aurisch(16) and David Ngo(24) with 335. Runner’s Up in the individual went to Peter Johnston on CB from Trevor Connell with 35 points. There was no NTP on the 11th and the team of Brian Simmons and Ivor Brayley with 247 points won the $10 for the Club Award.
