Alas the golfing season is over for another year but not without exciting times and victory! Off to the last tournament at Hidden Valley the last chance for the player of the year points up for grabs. The weather was not what you call a pleasant day somewhat really cold and wet at times but competition will go on regardless. Adrianne Anglin was leading the score board going into the last leg by two points but this day anything could change with a couple of ladies hot on her heals. Adrianne smelling the sweet taste of victory did not let us down. Pressure didn’t phase her and
like a true trooper calmly rocked in securing another 3 points more than enough to secure top position! Go Girl not only did you win Player of the year but did it well 27 points with Glenda Woods and Gail Leigh both on 22 next in line. A top job we are very proud of you here at Royal Yea CONGRATULATIONS ADRIANNE !!!! Victory for the day wasn’t finished yet young Margie Wright hot off winning the C grade championships continued her fine form to take out C Grade congratulations Margie! C grade will soon be a thing of the past! Well done Yea! watch this space next season anything could happen.
