Wednesday saw 7 men from Broadford come to Royal Yea GC for midweek competition. Their course was cored on Tuesday and many of their group were sore and aching from sanding greens the day before.
Winner of the 17 Men field was local Michael Spagnolo(7) with 37 points on CB from Gerry Hanson(9) from Broadford with Gary Pollard(13) third also on 37. Fourth on 36 points and CB was Jim Doyle(23) of Broadford from Greg Hanson and Peter Winnell also from Broadford. Graeme Bryant won NTP on the second and Carl Maffei took out the Club Award.
Club Championships start on Saturday. A Grade will be 0 – 14, B Grade 15-19 and C Grade 20+
