On a beautiful day in down town Royal Yea 10 Ladies took to the course to compete in a number of contests. First being the Silver spoon play off. Unfortunately all were unable to come compete but a trusty 3 went out to battle Vicki Clements, Margie Wright and Karen Sangster. Young Vicki came in with the winning score 76 nett and will go onto compete on a course in Melbourne (yet to be decided). Go Vicki good luck. The Second was another and the last for the season Monthly Medal. One
very excited Cheryl Roberts who had a great day out came in with a 69 nett to take the honours and win her very first new logo medal. Well done Cheryl great job! Runner up for the day Jan Wealands 70 nett who I think was more excited not winning the whoops award which by the way I took out for the day. Good job Jan. Last but not least the putting comp was won by Laraine Callander with 27 putts. To top off the day we were spoilt having a lovely lunch by chef Margie Wright who could ask for anything more!
