No stopping Adrianne Anglin today she blitzed the field of 9 players to win on a countback from Miranda Gill the Kath Homewood Memorial Trophy 2018, which is 36 holes stroke aggregate – 2 day x 18 holes. After the first day Laraine Callander was leading but Adrianne came from behind to snatch the win by a stroke from Miranda Gill. Laraine was the runner up for the 2 day trophy.
The Kath Homewood memorial trophy is in honour of Kath and her dedication to Yea Golf Club. Joining in 1959. Lady Captain in 1971, 72, 74, 75, 97 & 98. Lady President 1985, 86, 94, 95 & 96. Pennant player for years. Lady President of Dalhousie. Life member of Yea Golf Club. Represented Yea at many, many Inter Club tournaments with success. During her membership she won most club events, sometimes more than once. Kath was a tireless club worker, generous with her food and flowers for all events.
