23 players joined in our mixed two person Ambrose event on Wednesday to raise funds for Cancer Research. After a draw for partners, players enjoyed both sun and rain throughout the 18 holes. Winning pair for the day was Bob Glenister and Chris Simmons from runners-up Mick Spagnolo and Di Holdsworth. Nearest the pins – 2nd – Chris Simmons (and a birdie), 14th – Di Elliot, 18th – Martin Lowe.
Everyone enjoyed lunch together and along with raffle and donations we raised $288. Thanks to all who contributed to a fun day.
