Yea Ladies Golf
This Wednesday we played a stroke round for the Monthly Medal, 2nd round of the Silver Spoon and 1st round of the Mona McLeod event. We also had a putting competition. Eleven ladies enjoyed the clear Yea morning. We also had 4 players out there enjoying 9 holes.
The winner of the day with an excellent 70 nett was Marj Gouldthorpe.
Runner up on 75 was Di Elliot on a countback from Laraine Callander.
Adrianne Anglin won the putting with 28 putts.
Our pennant team travelled to Alexandra to play in thick fog last Monday. Conditions on the course were good but we were beaten on the day by Seymour, 3.5 to 1.5.
