The ladies still hold a large lead in the summer gender challenge. Relish, mustard and sauce specials need to be found by the men for what seems a likely result at this stage of the competition. Thirteen men and eleven ladies played on Wednesday with the ladies holding a 69 point lead with only 4 weeks to go.
Marge Gouldthorpe (31) 1st , Vicki Clements (22) 2nd, Loraine Callander (15) 3rd and Rob O’Halloran (18) 4th all had a net 70 to be decided on CB. Ray Partridge (24) was second for the men on CB from Bill Dredge (22) with 73 net. Marge also won the NTP on the 18th. The men won the team average. Russell Wealands won the putting with 27 putts and somehow managed to secure the Club Award as well!
