Good fields of 14 Men and 10 Ladies took to the course on a glorious day with the course in tip top condition in lead up to our Corporate Day on 24 September. Members are encouraged to make up and enter a team of 3 players for this event and let Gary know as soon as possible. This is an important fund raiser for or club and every Member is requested to make a special effort.
Neil Peterson (nett 71) and Ivor Brayley (72) led the men with Peter Williams winning the putting (25). Bob O’Halloran, again proved what a great Clubman he was taking home John Tanner’s ball to practice with.
Adrianne Anglin won the Monthly Medal with nett 67) from Miranda Gill (75) who also won the putting (25).
In the Silver Spoon play off between Vicki, Laraine, Jan and Marj – Laraine won with a nett 77. She will now compete in the final at Keysborough in November.
We have some 80 booked in for the Clubs fun Yum Cha night this Saturday with delicious food assured ….. thanks to our Social Committee supported by Barb Glenister!
