With no golf Wednesday sixteen men participated Saturday in the second round of the AH Smith. Conditions were still heavy with little roll but that didn’t slow Tony Rule(17) who produced a brilliant round of 38 points to win the day by 4 points and the AH Smith by 3 points. Second on the day was Phil Armstrong (18) with 34 points from third Mic Spagnolo(10) 33 and fourth Ric Wills(10) on 32 points. Mic Spagnolo was NTP on the 10th for 2 and the lucky $10 winner of the Club Award was Rob Gill.
AH Smith Top Results were: Tony Rule 64, Rick Wills 61, Phil Armstrong 60, Mic Spagnolo 60 Paul Heyen 58 and Alan Pell 58. In the Ladies Competition Sharon Grogan took the honours with 27 points.
