Today a very important event the “Margaret Samblebe Brooch”. One round of stableford. Margaret joined the club in 1989 and was a member until 1996. During this time she was the Handicap manager. In memory of Margaret her family donates a beautiful brooch which can only be won once and if you should so win again your name is entered on the plaque. A very sought out event. Due to covid catch up, another Monthly Medal and a separate 9 hole comp. The winner goes onto the Dalhousie finals (if of course they are able to go ahead) This is a different 9 hole event held on comp day. Quite a lot up for grabs.!
Drum role happening todays winner who is grinning from ear to ear a young and spritely Sue Aurisch (38) who matched her handicap 38 stableford points Go Sue!!!! Sue won the lot! Margaret Samblebe, Monthly medal, and the 9 hole comp! A super day out for Sue bet there was lots of celebrating last night. Runner up consistent Adrianne Anglin (16) 36 points. Adrianne also secured the NTP. Daily 9 hole comp was won by Vicky Butler (32) on a countback from Helen Burnett (54) both on 16 points. Well done girls!
