Graced once again with a beautiful spring day to play the Gold Medal play off. Unfortunately a very small field of six for the day due to many reasons, baby sitting, work etc but non the less did not put a damper on the day’s activities. Those present enjoyed a great days golf. There were only 4 of the monthly medal winners present Laraine Callander, Margie Wright, Cheryl Roberts and myself Karen Sangster. Captain thought we needed chaperoning for the day so two groups of three headed off to battle. Even though one group shared swimming in the dam and I mean the whole three swam two came in with the winning scores. The Daily winner Laraine Callander 74 nett on a count back from “El Captitan” Vicky Butler also with a nett 74. Laraine of course winning the Gold Medal runner up little old me. Congratulations all! Another high light for the day Vicky Butler also won the eagles nest. Thankfully a handy prize lots of balls! Got to replace the one that went swimming well done Vicky. October sees the start of the Championships good luck girls!
