Peter Keast, who takes on the role of greens supervisor at Yea Golf Club, found them to be in perfect condition on Saturday. Peter was heard to remark “that was my best round ever” after completing the 18th. The day’s event was a stableford and Peter won the day with 39 points from his 22 handicap. A feature of his play was his pitching to the pin from about 30 metres. Trevor Connell had a return to form and was runner up with 38 points. Johnathan Fisher had a complete form reversal. After winning the Club Award last week for the least good score he had an excellent 36 points this week to finish 3rd. Gary Pollard was NTP on the 2nd and Carl Maffei took home the Club Award.
On Wednesday Neil Peterson had 38 stableford points to be the daily winner from Gary Pollard on 37. Bill Dredge took out the NTP and the Club Award.
